CLOUSTON Associates developed a preliminary feasibility and master plan study for this 100 hectare “Greenfield” site in Ajman, one of the seven emirates that make up the United Arab Emirates.

Having led the initial site appraisal, CLOUSTON prepared development principles, the land use mix, density and yield options for this potential gateway to Ajman, as well as advising on overall urban development form, streetscape character, and concepts for the central park.

This high density, mixed use development includes schools, a hospital, mosques, hotel and conference centre facilities, solar thermal power plant, reverse osmosis on site water treatment, office towers, health and recreational facilities surrounding a central parkland. The development will yield new residences for over 65,000 people and provide 25,500 new employment places.
