CLOUSTON TEAM HAS TALENT IN SPADES - 22/1/2009
CLOUSTON Associates’ Darwin team not only proudly sponsored but also happily donned hats, shorts and spades to take part in the Rapid Creek Community Planting Day in December 2008.
The site is part of Darwin International Airport and is gradually undergoing re-vegetation. A team of 75 energetic volunteers on the day planted a total of 2,500 trees and shrubs – a mighty effort given the 35 degree temperature and 85% humidity.
These works, and the award winning work represented by the Darwin Airport Commercial Precinct, are some of the outcomes of the Rapid Creek Management Plan prepared by CLOUSTON in 1994. This document continues to be the guiding document for landscape works within the catchment.
