DARWIN TONY SLEEPS OUT IN SYDNEY - 10/6/2010

Homelessness is an unpleasant reality for an estimated 105,000 people across Australia, but for those sleeping rough in Sydney, the winter is a particularly unforgiving time.

While this year's Vinnies CEO Sleepout has been extended to all of Australia's capital cities, including Darwin, CLOUSTON NT Director Tony Cox has chosen to rug up and join Leonard Lynch and Crosbie Lorimer in the cold at Sydney’s Luna Park to help raise awareness of the plight of homeless people.

Last year's Sydney event raised an astounding $620,379 towards the ongoing provision of Vinnies' homeless services across the country as 213 CEOs braved lashing wind and rain to experience what it is like to spend a night on the streets.

If you would like to help make this year's national Sleepout an even greater success, please sponsor Tony, Leonard and Crosbie as they help Vinnies turn the tide and give people the opportunities they need to rebuild their lives.
