As city populations grow inexorably and environmental challenges increase, urban quality and sustainability have become critically important demands in society. Urban Design at both big picture planning and local place levels can be an effective and enriching part of the answer. It must, however, be a process integrating the skills of many disciplines.
CLOUSTON collaborates in significant urban design initiatives throughout Australia, Asia and the Middle East - from new cities, urban renewal precincts, civic improvements, traffic and heritage management, to public art and community involvement programs. Importantly, we also contribute to Government Advisory Committees and professional forums in formulating plans and policy.
